Another assignment for my perspective class. The assignment was to show something in a state of construction/destruction.

This was for a perspective class. the assignment was to create a villain and a lair wherein the villain could do his/her nefarious deeds. My villain is this brain creature, and the idea behind his lair is that he kidnaps people and removes the brain and uses the bodies for disguises.

Another self-portrait. I did a charcoal drawing and painted over the top with gouache.

This was an acrylic wash on a photocopy transfer. I was just messing around but I thought it ended up looking cool.

Ok. Last Aquabats! inspired painting for now.   This is an acrylic wash over a photocopy transfer on a wood panel.

Yet another Aquabats! inspired painting. This was a photocopy transfer with an acrylic painting on top of that.

This one was based off a photo I took back at Viva Ska Vegas back in 2011. It's an acrylic build up of one of my biggest heroes. The MC BAT COMMANDER in all his glory.

Here is another oil lift-out. Decided to do one of my favorite characters.

I have been putting this off for too long. I have been making art for a long time now and I think its time I stepped my game up from simple Instagram pictures of my artwork. I decided to start a blog and get my stuff out into the ether so I can share what I love with a broader audience. The first piece I am is a self-portrait, done in a method called oil lift-out. It’s on a wood board prepped with gesso. I had a lot of fun with this technique.  Thanks for looking! More to come soon.
